Brief Overview of Our Company
Whether you are wanting to achieve greater self-awareness and/or needing to make any difficult decisions/changes in your life, Christine works collaboratively with you to set-up goals, establish counselling plans while providing guidance within a supportive and non-judgemental environment.
Christine Gatzke is a bilingual (English/French) clinical psychotherapist providing individual, family/couple, group, career counselling/coaching, life coaching, and EAP/EFAP services in-person, telephonically, and online/e-counselling. Obtained her M.Ed. in Counselling from the University of Ottawa, she received post-graduate training in Gestalt Psychotherapy via the Gestalt Institute of Ottawa.
She is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and CISM/D (Critical Incident Stress Management/Debriefing). In addition, Christine is certified in working with Children and Families via the Hincks-Dellcrest Institute in Toronto. As a Canadian Certified Counsellor, Christine specializes and is trained in Post-Adoption, Adoption Reunion and Foster Care Counselling, via The Carlini Institute and Algonquin College. Christine is a certified Strong Interest Inventory clinician (assessment/interpreter).
Christine possesses both beginner/advanced certificates in Dyadic Development Psychotherapy (for attachment issues and behavioral difficulties) with Dr. Daniel Hughes and Infertility Counselling Certification via Tape Educational Services. In addition, Christine is a certified Life and Career Coach via the Certified Coaches Federation.
Given Christine's mind-body-spirit approach, she is also trained in various complementary therapies (biofeedback), such as Emotional Freedom Techniques (formerly EFT-CC/ADV), Heartmath Interventions (certified practitioner), Holographic Reiki (she is a Reiki Master/Instructor), Therapeutic Touch (Level I & II), and Integrated Energy Therapy (Level I, II, III) Practitioner. Christine holds a diploma in Holistic Nutritional Therapy through the Natural Health Institutes.
An international/national speaker, Christine has and continues to provide seminars, webinars, and workshops at conferences, for federal and provincial governments, etc.
In providing optimal services to clients, Christine believes in continuing education whether through workshops or courses to provide tools and information suitable for each client, in order for him/her to obtained his/her goals.
Office Hours/Fees
Office Hours: Day and evening appointments are available. Fees are payable by personal cheque, cash, or e-transfer at the beginning of each session. Receipts are provided upon payment. Christine provides services through a variety of EFAP/EAP programs that may cover partial or full payment of session fees.
Missed and Cancelled Appointments
It is understandable that life circumstances occur, and in this event, Christine is flexible to reschedule appointments where necessary. Kindly note, that Christine requires a minimum of 24 hours notice of all cancelled or rescheduled appointments. In the absence of this notice, a charge will incur for late cancels/missed appointments with less than 24 hours notice prior to the scheduled appointment.
