Energy Healing (Holographic Reiki, Therapeutic Touch™, Integrated Energy Therapy)


Christine offers Reiki,Therapeutic Touch, and IET for women who are in the process of trying to conceive, during all stages of their pregnancy, labor & delivery, and post-partum. In addition, Reiki & Therapeutic Touch is a safe approach for babies.	CLC: A Path to Healing offers three forms of energy healing: (1) Holographic Reiki; (2) Therapeutic Touch; (3) Integrated Energy Therapy. Holographic Reiki Holographic Reiki, or Reiki, is a natural technique of stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes self-healing by balancing the body, mind, and soul. It is a modality that is from a Japanese system of healing that works on spiritual, emotional, and physical levels, developed about 100 years ago from Dr. Mikao Usui. Although it is spiritual by nature, Reiki is not a religion! The Japanese word Reiki comes from “Rei” meaning universal spirit, unlimited cosmic energy, and “Ki” meaning physical life-force energy. Reiki is an unseen force gently applied “through the hands” or “hands-on”, which radiates beneficial vibration creating harmony.

What happens during a treatment?

Clients wear comfortable, soft clothing and can receive a treatment in whatever position is comfortable for them (lying, sitting, or standing); clients remain fully clothed.
The practitioner’s hands are placed on or above the client in a prescribed manner, and sometimes intuitively, depending on conditions being treated. Some people may experience heat under the hands, a relaxed sensation, tingling, a meditative peacefulness or sleep, etc. In days and/or weeks to follow, clients may notice positive changes in eating habits, lifestyle, self-awareness, relationships, general vitality and energy levels.

After the treatment, clients will have time to discuss and re-compose their newly relaxed self prior to departure!

Theraputic Touch

Therapeutic Touch™ or TT is a contemporary interpretation of several ancient healing practices, a consciously directed process of energy exchange during which practitioners use their hands as a focus for facilitating healing on or above the client. TT is not to be mistaken for Healing Touch or Quantum Touch.

Developed in early 1970s by Dolores Krieger, Ph.D., R.N. and her colleague, Dora Kunz, TT is a non-invasive holistic healing modality based on scientific principles and 25 years of research. In Canada, several hospitals and health care facilities have incorporated a policy and procedure for the use of TT.

What happens during a treatment?

Clients wear comfortable, soft clothing and can receive a treatment in whatever position is comfortable for them (lying or sitting); clients remain fully clothed. The practitioner’s hands are placed on or above the client in a prescribed manner, and sometimes intuitively, depending on conditions being treated.

Response to treatment varies according to the individual. Treatments do not exceed 20 minutes and after each treatment there is a period of rest. It is usually helpful to have more than one treatment, particularly for chronic problems/issues.

Common effects of TT:

elicits the relaxation response;
reduces anxiety while changing the perception of pain; and
facilitates the body’s natural restorative process.

Integrated Energy Therapy (IET)

Integrated Energy Therapy® or IET is the art of healing with the pure energy of the Angels. It has been described as one of the "next generation, hands-on, power energy therapy systems that gets the issues out of your tissues for good!" Developed at the Center of Being, in upstate New York, by Center founder Stevan Thayer.

In order to live life to the fullest, we need to ensure our life energy receives as many healthy and resourceful inputs as we can provide. When our lives are affected by emotional or physical stresses, the flow of our life energy becomes restricted or blocked. Depending on where in the energy system that blockage lies and for how long, our organs and tissues can be affected, leading to physical illness.

The objective of IET is to provide a simple and gentle way to open the flow of vital life force within the human body and the human energy field, by integrating suppressed feelings from cellular memory and clearing their associated energy blockages. Releasing the blocks allows for self-healing on all levels (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual). IET uses a divine angelic energy ray to work directly with one's 12-strand spiritual DNA to re-align and re-balance the body. Once the energy field is clear and the body has become re-balanced, we find ourselves free of limitations to our good health, life purpose, prosperity and creativity. IET can, therefore, be a tremendously empowering experience.

IET is a complimentary therapy that can be used with other energy techniques. IET cannot be used to diagnose, treat, or heal disease. IET is not intended to replace traditional medical approaches and clients are encouraged to continue consulting with their medical professionals when receiving IET treatments.

Where Reiki and IET are complementary to one another and can often be used in combination, both are channeled energy therapies. Both use simple and gentle hands-on/hands-off techniques. Both modalities acknowledge that the body does the healing after the blockages in the energy field are released.

The difference between the two modalities is that IET healing energy comes from the Angelic Realm, whereby a IET practitioner Heartlink® with the angels to download healing energy of IET. The energy is of a different frequency than used in Reiki. The IET practitioner works to lift the blocks out through the layers of the body's energy field and releases them. The intent of IET is emotional, mental, and karmic healing and it is an active therapy. A practitioner uses the angelic Heartlink® and pull-out release techniques at specific energy "power points" on the body to clear deep blockages. These points at are areas in the energy anatomy which have been identified as storing specific suppressed emotions.

At the advanced IET level can be used to go beyond the clearing phase to assist one to work on their Soul's Purpose and adds techniques to assist in manifesting our life's desires. When we have cleared up the energy blockages holding us back (i.e., fear), we can attract what *we want* rather then what we don't want!
